The Timesheets section gives managers a full view of every employee's clock-in and clock-out records for any date range. Use it to review hours before payroll, catch issues like missed clock-outs or no-shows, add or correct timecards, and download your payroll export.
Getting There
Click Timesheets in the left navigation. The page defaults to your current payroll period.
The Timesheet Summary
At the top of the page, a summary bar shows totals across your entire team for the selected period:
Paid Hours — total hours paid across all employees
Regular Hours — total non-overtime hours worked
Overtime — total overtime hours accrued
Paid Breaks — total paid break time
Est Pay — estimated total labor cost
The Timesheet Table
Below the summary, timecards are grouped by employee. Each employee row shows their total timecards for the period, scheduled hours, actual hours worked, the difference between actual and scheduled (Actual vs Scheduled), hours paid, and estimated pay. Expand any employee to see their individual timecard entries by date.
Each timecard row shows the date, role, job code (if enabled), wage, any issues, on-call status, timecard times, scheduled hours, actual hours, actual vs scheduled, and hours paid. The table scrolls horizontally to show all columns.
Filtering Timesheets
Use the filters at the top to narrow the view:
Date range — select a payroll period from the dropdown or set a custom start and end date
Employees — filter to one or more specific employees
Roles — filter by role
Departments — filter by department
Search — search by employee name
Identifying Issues
The Issues column shows a red warning icon when a timecard needs attention. Hover over the icon to see the issue type. Common issues include:
No Show — employee was scheduled but never clocked in
Missed Break — employee did not take a required break
Missing Clock-Out — employee clocked in but has no clock-out time
Late — employee clocked in after the grace period set in Enforcements
Click any timecard row to open the full timecard detail and resolve the issue.
The Pay Tab
The Pay tab (alongside Timesheets and Job Codes) shows a cleaner per-employee pay breakdown — Paid Hours, Paid Break, Paid Time Off, average hourly rate, and Estimated Pay per person for the selected period. Use this for a quick payroll cost overview without the full timecard detail.
Timesheets on Mobile
Managers can also view timesheets from the mobile app. Tap Timesheets in the bottom navigation. The mobile view shows each employee with their total paid hours for the selected period. Tap any employee to see their individual timecard entries, including hours worked, hours scheduled, paid breaks, total hours, location, and a full Timeline View showing every clock event during the shift.
