Teamsly's web time clock gives you two options: a Personal Time Clock for employees clocking in from their own logged-in account, and a Shared Time Clock for managers to launch on a kiosk or shared tablet so the whole team can clock in from one device.
Getting There
Click the clock icon in the top right corner of the web app. A dropdown appears with both time clock options.
Personal Time Clock
The Personal Time Clock is for individual employees clocking in from their own account on the web.
Click the clock icon in the top right and select Personal Time Clock.
Select your scheduled shift, or choose Unscheduled Shift if you're working without a scheduled shift.
Confirm to clock in. The modal briefly shows a success screen, then closes.
To take a break or clock out, click the clock icon again to reopen the Personal Time Clock and select Take a break or Clock Out. When taking a break, you'll be asked to choose between a paid or unpaid break.
Shared Time Clock (Kiosk Mode)
The Shared Time Clock turns a web browser into a kiosk that any employee can use to clock in — without needing their own login session active.
Click the clock icon in the top right and select Shared Time Clock.
Click Go to time clock to confirm. This logs you out of your manager session and launches the shared clock interface.
Employees clock in using their employee PIN or username and password.
After clocking in, the modal shows a success screen and then closes. The kiosk returns to the clock-in screen, ready for the next employee.
To take a break or clock out, the employee re-enters their PIN or credentials to reopen the shared clock modal and selects the appropriate option.
💡 If the Job Codes module is enabled, employees using the Shared Time Clock can also start and end job codes from the kiosk — tracking time against specific jobs, tasks, or cost codes within their shift. See Job Codes Overview for more detail.
Ending the Shared Time Clock
To exit kiosk mode and return to the standard Teamsly login, click Sign Out in the top right of the shared clock screen. This ends the shared session and prevents further clock-ins until a manager launches it again.
⚠️ Don't forget to click Sign Out when you're done with a kiosk session — leaving it open allows anyone to clock in using the shared terminal.
