Mobile Time Clock

How employees clock in, take breaks, and clock out using the Teamsly mobile app

The Teamsly mobile app lets employees clock in, take breaks, and clock out right from their phone. GPS location is captured at every event, and your upcoming shifts are always visible on the Home screen so you know exactly when and where you need to be.

Getting There

Open the Teamsly app and go to the Home tab. The Clock In button is always visible in the top right of your Home screen when you're not clocked in.

Clocking In

  1. Tap Clock In in the top right of the Home screen.

  2. The Time Clock screen opens. If prompted, tap Enable Location to allow Teamsly to access your device location — this verifies you're at the correct worksite and is required for geo-fencing and real-time location tracking if your manager has those enabled.

  3. A map of your current location appears. Select your scheduled shift from the list below the map, or choose Unscheduled if you're working without a scheduled shift.

  4. Tap Confirm Clock In.

💡 If geo-fencing is enabled by your manager, you must be within the defined radius of your location to clock in. If you're outside the fence, the Confirm Clock In button will be unavailable until you're in range.

📋 The ability to clock in for an Unscheduled shift depends on your manager's settings. If unscheduled clock-ins are disabled, only your assigned shifts will appear.

While Clocked In

Once you're clocked in, the Home screen updates to show your current status. A blue card shows your active shift with a timer and gives you quick access to End break (if on a break) or options to take a break or clock out. Your upcoming shifts remain visible below.

Tap View Timecard on the active shift card to see your full timeline for the shift, including clock-in time, any breaks, and the GPS location captured at each event.

Taking a Break

While clocked in, you'll be asked to choose between a paid or unpaid break based on your company's break policy. The Home screen updates to show a break timer and an End break button. Tap it when you're ready to resume your shift.

Clocking Out

Tap Clock out in the top right of the Home screen. Confirm to complete the clock-out. Your timecard is saved automatically and is visible to managers in the Timesheets section.

💡 If your manager has tip declaration enabled, you'll be prompted to enter your cash and credit tips after clocking out.
