When real-time location tracking is enabled, the manager dashboard gains a Live Status tab that shows every clocked-in employee's current position on a live map, along with their status, address, and job code. This gives you a complete picture of where your team is at any given moment during the workday.
Getting There
Click Home in the left navigation to open the manager dashboard, then click the Live Status tab below the stats overview. You'll only see this tab if real-time location tracking is enabled in Settings.
The Live Status View
The Live Status tab has two panels side by side:
Employee list (left) — Shows every employee who has clocked in today, with their name, clock-in time, job code (if Job Codes are enabled), current address, and status (Clocked In, On Break, or Clocked Out). You can search by employee name to quickly find someone.
Live map (right) — Shows the real-time position of all currently clocked-in employees as pins on the map. Each pin displays the employee's initials so you can identify who's where at a glance.
You can also filter the employee list by status using the All, On the Clock, On Break, and Clocked Out tabs at the top of the list.
Viewing an Employee's Route
To see the route an individual employee has traveled during their shift, click their name in the employee list. The map updates to show the full path they've taken, including their current position. You can also see the distance they've traveled during the shift.
Expanding to Full Screen
Click the expand icon in the top right corner of the Live Status widget to open it in full screen. In full screen mode you can filter the view by date to review historical routes from past shifts — useful for verifying where an employee was on a specific day.
The Timeline and Shift List Views
The dashboard also has two additional tabs alongside Live Status:
Timeline — A chronological view of clock events across your team for the day
Shift List — A list view of all shifts scheduled and worked today
💡 The Live Status map only shows employees whose roles have real-time tracking enabled. If an employee isn't appearing on the map, check that their role is included in Settings → Time Tracking → Roles with real-time location enabled.
