Employees complete their tasks from the Teamsly mobile app. Tasks assigned to them show up directly on the Home screen so they don't need to dig through menus to find what they need to do. Checking off tasks takes just a tap.
Getting There
Tasks appear on the Home tab of the mobile app as a Tasks card, showing a progress counter (e.g., "1/5") and a preview of upcoming tasks. Tap the card to open the full task list. Employees can also go to More → Task Manager and tap the Today tab.
Viewing Today's Tasks
Tapping the Tasks card opens a list of all tasks assigned to the employee for today, grouped by task list. Each task shows its name, due time, assignee tag, and a photo icon if a photo is required. Tasks that are past their due time are highlighted in pink with an Overdue label.
Completing a Task
To complete a task, tap the checkbox to the left of the task name. The task is immediately marked as complete. A progress bar at the top of the screen updates to reflect the new completion percentage.
For tasks that require photo proof, tapping the task name opens the task detail screen where you can upload a photo before or after marking it complete.
💡 Tapping the task name (rather than the checkbox) opens the full task detail screen where you can see the due time, start time, assignment, priority, any description, plus the Upload Photo and Notes fields.
Tapping Into a Task for Details
Tap any task name to open its detail screen. This screen shows a Completed checkbox, Details (list name, due time, priority, and assignment), Photos (Upload Photo button), and Notes (text field to add a note).
Completing Tasks With Photo Proof Required
If a task has photo proof required, the task row shows a red camera icon. Tap the task name to open the detail screen, tap Upload Photo, and take a photo or choose one from your camera roll. Once a photo is uploaded, tap the Completed checkbox to mark the task done.
Adding a Note to a Task
From the task detail screen, type in the Notes field at the bottom and tap the send arrow to save your note. Notes are visible to managers in the History tab and can be added before or after marking a task complete.
