Tasks are the individual items inside a task list, or standalone single tasks that aren't part of any list. Each task has a title, an optional description, an assignee, a recurrence schedule, and optional photo proof and due time settings. You can create tasks from the web or the mobile app.
Getting There
Click the Task Manager icon in the left navigation and go to the Manage tab. To add a task to an existing task list, click Edit on the list and then click + Add Task. To add a standalone single task, click Add Single Task in the top right.
On mobile, tap More → Task Manager, then tap the + icon in the top right and select Add Single Task.
Creating a Single Task
Click Add Single Task to open the task creation form. Fill in the following:
Task Title (required) — The name of the task, such as "Restock bar supplies" or "Check cooler temperatures."
Description (optional) — Additional context or instructions for whoever is completing the task.
Assign to — Everyone, Department, Role, or Employee.
Repeating — Does not repeat, Daily, or Weekly.
Start Time — When the task becomes active for the assignee.
Due Time — The deadline for completing the task. Tasks not completed by this time are marked overdue.
Require photo proof — Toggle on if you want the employee to upload a photo as confirmation.
Click Save to create the task. Single tasks appear under the Single Tasks section at the bottom of the Manage tab.
Adding a Task Inside a Task List
To add a task to an existing task list, click Edit on the task list, then click + Add Task. Type the task name and press enter. You can then tap the task row to set the assignee and photo requirement. Tasks within a list inherit the list's start time and due time.
💡 Tasks in a list are numbered in the order you create them. The order shown on the Manage tab is the order employees see them.
Editing a Task
To edit a task inside a task list, open the list's Edit form and tap the task row to update its title, assignee, or photo requirement. To edit a single task, click the Edit button next to it on the Manage tab.
Deleting a Task
To remove a task from a task list, open the list edit form and click the trash icon next to the task. Deleting a task removes all future occurrences — historical completions in the History tab are preserved.
⚠️ Editing or deleting a task inside a task list changes the whole series going forward. Changes apply to all future instances of that task.
