When a schedule containing job shifts is published, employees receive notifications about their shifts just like any other scheduled shift. Publishing is what makes job shifts visible to employees and triggers their notifications.
How to Publish
Once you have created your jobs and assigned workers, publish the schedule the same way you always do. Click the Publish Schedule button in the top right of the schedule page and confirm. All workers assigned to jobs in the schedule will be notified about their shifts.
📋 Jobs and the shifts they create are part of your regular schedule. You do not need to publish separately for jobs — publishing the schedule publishes everything, including job shifts.
What Happens When You Publish
Each assigned worker receives a push notification that their shift has been published
The shift appears on the employee's schedule in the mobile app and web
Open job slots (unassigned worker rows) appear as open shifts that eligible employees can view and request
Employees can see the job name, time, address, and notes on their shift details
Multiple Schedules
Teamsly supports multiple draft schedules at the same time. You might have a "Dispatch & Scheduling" schedule and a "Moving Crews" schedule running in parallel. Each schedule can be published independently. Job shifts created in a particular schedule are published when that schedule is published.
💡 If you add a worker to a job after the schedule has already been published, publish again to notify that worker about their new shift.
