You can share your current GPS location directly in a chat conversation from the mobile app. The location appears as an embedded map thumbnail in the chat that all participants can see.
Getting There
This feature is only available on mobile. Open any chat conversation, then tap the + button on the left side of the message bar to expand the attachment options.
Sharing Your Location
Tap the location pin icon from the attachment options. If this is your first time, Teamsly will ask for permission to use your location. After granting permission, a Share Location screen appears showing a map preview of your current position. Tap Share Location to send it into the chat.
How It Appears in Chat
Your location appears as an embedded map thumbnail in the conversation, visible to all chat participants. They can tap the map to view it in more detail.
📍 Location sharing is useful for field teams or employees working off-site who need to let a manager or colleague know where they are in real time.
