Teamsly can generate a complete quiz or lesson for you using AI. Describe the topic and the AI creates a full draft you can review and edit before assigning to your team. The AI creation flow is identical for both quizzes and lessons.
Getting There
Click the graduation cap icon in the left navigation → click Create Quiz or Create Lesson in the top right → click Create with AI at the bottom of the type picker.
Step 1: Choose Quiz or Lesson
At the top of the Create with AI dialog, select Quiz or Lesson.
Step 2: Describe It
In the text field, describe what the quiz or lesson should cover. Be specific — the more detail you give, the better the output. For example: "Workplace safety basics - key practices for staying safe on the job" or "Opening shift procedures for front-of-house restaurant staff."
Step 3: Set the Number of Questions
Use the Number of Questions spinner to choose how many steps to generate. The default is 8.
Step 4: Set the Difficulty
Select a Difficulty level: Easy, Medium, or Hard. The default is Medium. This controls how complex and nuanced the questions will be.
Step 5: Choose Question Types (Optional)
Check one or more Question Types to guide the AI toward specific formats. Leave all unchecked to let the AI decide. Available types are: Single Select, Multiple Select, True/False, and Free Answer.
✨ Leaving question types unchecked usually gives the best results. The AI naturally leans toward Single Select and True/False — the scored types — which are ideal for assessments.
Step 6: Generate and Review
Click Generate with AI. Teamsly builds a draft and opens it in the builder, where you can edit question text, change types, reorder steps, mark or update correct answers, toggle feedback options per question, and update the overview settings. Preview the full quiz or lesson before assigning.
💡 Always review AI-generated content before assigning. Verify that the correct answers, difficulty, and wording match your specific standards and terminology.
