When job codes are enabled, they appear throughout the Timesheets view — on the main timesheet list, inside individual timecard entries, and in the timecard edit panel. Managers can view, add, edit, and remove job codes directly from the timesheets.
Job Codes in the Timesheet List
Go to Timesheets in the left navigation. The timesheet table includes a Job Code column that shows the job code(s) worked during each shift. If an employee worked multiple job codes in a single shift, they appear separated by a comma in the column.
Job Codes on the Timecard
Click any row in the timesheet to open the full timecard for that entry. The timecard detail view shows:
Date, total paid hours, regular hours, overtime, and paid breaks
Clock-in and clock-out times with GPS location
Breaks taken during the shift
Cash Tips and Credit Tips (if enabled)
A Job Codes section listing every job code worked during the shift, along with the start time for each
A View Timeline button for the full shift timeline
Editing Job Codes on a Timecard
Click Edit on the timecard to open the edit panel. The edit panel shows a Job Codes section where you can:
Add a job code — click the job code dropdown and select a code, then set the start time
Edit a job code — change the code or adjust its start time using the dropdowns
Remove a job code — click the trash icon next to the entry
Add multiple job codes — add as many as needed to reflect the employee's actual work during the shift
Click Save when done.
💡 If an employee forgot to select a job code during their shift, or selected the wrong one, managers can correct it here before approving the timecard for payroll.
