The Teamsly mobile app lets employees clock in and out, view their schedule, complete forms and quizzes, chat with their team, and manage requests — all from their phone. Managers can also use the app to view the dashboard, create shift alerts, and manage their team on the go.
This guide walks you through downloading the app and signing in — with your phone number (Teamsly texts you a code) or with your email and password.
Step 1: Download the App
Teamsly is available on both iOS and Android. Download it from your device's app store:
iPhone or iPad: Download on the App Store
Android: Get it on Google Play
📱 Search for Teamsly in the App Store or Google Play if the links above don't open automatically on your device.
Step 2: Sign In
There are two ways to sign in to the Teamsly mobile app and web app:
Phone number — Enter your mobile number and Teamsly texts you a 4-digit code. No password needed.
Email and password — Sign in with the email address your manager added and the password you set.
Use whichever your manager set up for you. If your manager added both your email and your phone number, you can use either one.
Sign in with your phone number
Open the Teamsly app. Below the email and password fields, under or, enter your mobile number in the Phone number field. Tap the flag to change the country code if needed (it defaults to US +1).
Tap the arrow button next to your number.
Teamsly texts you a code, for example: "Teamsly: 1234 is your verification code. It expires in 10 minutes."
On the Enter the 4-digit code screen, type the code. It signs you in automatically when you enter the last digit, or you can tap Verify.

💬 Didn't get the code? You can tap Resend code after 60 seconds. Codes expire after 10 minutes and can only be used once. To go back to email and password, tap Log in using email.
Sign in with your email and password
Open the Teamsly app
Enter your Email and Password
Tap Login
Signing in on the web
You can also sign in from any browser at app.teamslyapp.com/login. The Sign in to your account page has the same two options:
Email and password — Enter your Email and Password, then click Log in.
Phone number — Below or, enter your phone number and click the arrow. Enter the 4-digit code from the text message and click Verify.

If you're a new employee
How you get started depends on what your manager entered when they added you:
Added with a phone number only — You'll receive a text message like "Teamsly: [manager] has invited you to join [company]. Download the app and sign in with this phone number." Download the app and sign in with your phone number as shown above. You don't need to create a password, and you can sign in as soon as your manager has added you, even before the text arrives.
Added with an email address — You'll receive an activation email. Tap the link to open the Activate your account page, create a password (at least 8 characters, including one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character), and tap Activate account. Then sign in with your email and new password.
📧 Don't see the activation email? Check your spam or junk folder. Activation links expire after 48 hours. If yours is missing or expired, ask your manager to resend it from the Not Activated tab in the Employees section.
Trouble signing in with your phone number?
"Please enter a valid phone number" — Check the number and the country code.
No text arrives — Teamsly only sends codes to phone numbers that belong to an active Teamsly account. Make sure you're entering the same number your manager has on file, with the right country code. Wait 60 seconds and tap Resend code. If it still doesn't arrive, ask your manager to check the phone number on your profile.
"That code is incorrect or has expired. Please request a new one." — Codes expire after 10 minutes, work only once, and stop working after 3 wrong attempts. Tap Resend code to get a new one.
Too many attempts — For security, only a limited number of codes can be sent per hour. Wait a few minutes and try again, or sign in with your email and password if you have one.
Former employees — Once an employee is terminated, they can no longer sign in.
⏱️ Phone number sign-in works in the mobile app and on the web, but not on the Shared Time Clock (kiosk). At the kiosk, clock in with your 4-digit Login PIN or your email and password. You can find your PIN under More → Personal information in the app.
Step 3: Allow Notifications & Location Access
When prompted, allow the following so the app works properly:
Notifications — So you receive alerts for new schedules, shift reminders, announcements, and request updates
Location — Required if your company uses GPS-based clock-ins or real-time location tracking
📍 You can adjust notification and location permissions at any time in your phone's Settings app under the Teamsly entry.
Navigating the App
Once you're signed in, the app has five tabs along the bottom:
Home — Your dashboard with clock-in status, announcements, shift swap offers, to-do items, and upcoming shifts
Schedule — View your shifts and available open shifts for the week
Chats — Messages and announcements from your team
Colleagues — Browse your teammates and their roles
More — Access timesheets, availability, requests, forms, quizzes, audits, notifications, account settings, and support
Adding an Email and Password (Phone Number Accounts)
If you sign in with only a phone number, you can also add an email and password so you can sign in either way:
In the app, go to More → Personal information.
Under Add an email and password, enter your Email address and a Password (at least 6 characters).
Tap Save.
This option only appears if your account doesn't have an email address yet. You can keep signing in with your phone number afterward.
Changing or Resetting Your Password
To change your password, tap your profile icon or open More → Profile, then tap Change your password and follow the prompts.
Forgot your password? On the login screen, tap Access your account under Forgot your password? in the app, or click Forgot password on the web, and we'll email you a reset link. Password resets are sent by email only — if you sign in with your phone number, you don't need a password.
Language Settings
The Teamsly app is available in both English and Spanish. To switch languages, go to More and toggle Spanish Translation.
