Welcome to Teamsly! This guide shows you everything you need to know as an employee — how to clock in and out, view your schedule, swap shifts, request time off, set your availability, complete forms and quizzes, and stay in touch with your team. You can do it all from the web or the mobile app.

Clocking In & Out
If your company uses the time clock, you can clock in right from your phone.
Open the Home tab and allow location access if prompted
Select your scheduled shift, or choose Unscheduled if you're working without a scheduled shift
Confirm to clock in
Once you're clocked in, your Home screen shows the time you started, with buttons to Clock Out or Take a Break. Breaks can be paid or unpaid depending on your company's settings.
⏱️
Tap View Timecard to see your timeline for the shift — your clock-in, breaks, and clock-out, each with the location where it happened.
Viewing Your Schedule
Open the Schedule tab to see your shifts. You can switch between:
My Shifts — Your assigned shifts, shown by day with the role, time, and location
Open Shifts — Available shifts you can pick up
Tap any shift to open Shift Details, where you'll see the role, time, location, and a list of other staff working that shift. If you can't make it, tap Can't Work to let your manager know.
Swapping Shifts
Need someone to cover a shift? Open the shift and choose Swap Shift. Pick a date range, search for a colleague, and select one of their shifts to trade with. Your swap request is sent for approval, and you'll see its status as Pending until it's reviewed.
Requesting Time Off
Go to Requests → Request Off. Choose the type of time off, add an optional comment, set your start and end dates, and submit. You can review the status of past requests under the History tab.
Setting Your Availability
Let your manager know when you prefer to work — or can't work — under Requests → Availability. Mark each block of time as Preferred or Unavailable across the week. On mobile, open More → Availability and tap the edit pencil to update it.
🗓️
Keeping your availability up to date helps your manager schedule you for shifts that work with your life.
Completing Forms, Audits & Quizzes
Your manager may assign you forms, audits, or training. You'll find them on the Home screen under To Do, or in their own tabs:
Forms — Fill out checklists and surveys assigned to you
Audits — Complete any audits assigned to you and see their status
Quizzes & Lessons — Work through training, switching between Incomplete and Complete. Quizzes step you through one question at a time
Viewing Your Timesheets
On mobile, open Timesheets to see your hours. Pick a date range and you'll get a summary of your Regular, Scheduled, Overtime, and Total hours, plus a daily breakdown that includes your breaks.
Staying in Touch
Messages / Chats — Send direct and group messages to your teammates
Announcements — Read important updates from your managers
Colleagues — Browse your team, see their roles, and view their schedules
Your Profile & Notifications
Open your Profile Settings to update your name, phone number, date of birth, and login PIN, or to change your password. Under Notifications & Alerts, choose how you want to be notified — by Email, Push, or Text — for things like published schedules, shift start reminders, clock-in and clock-out reminders, announcements, and updates to your requests.
🔔
Turn on clock-in and clock-out reminders so you never forget to start or end a shift.
