Teamsly can generate a complete audit for you using AI. Instead of building questions one by one, you describe what the audit should cover and the AI builds a full draft you can review and edit. This works for all four audit types — Employee, Person, Place, and Other.
Getting There
Go to Audits from the left navigation → click Create Audit in the top right → on the audit type selection screen, click Create audit with AI at the bottom.
Step 1: Choose the Audit Type
At the top of the Create with AI dialog, select the type of subject you're auditing: Employee, Person, Place, or Other. The AI will tailor its questions to fit that context.
Step 2: Describe the Audit
In the text field, describe what the audit should cover. Be specific — the more detail you give, the better the output. For example: "Workplace safety basics - key practices for staying safe on the job" or "Kitchen food safety inspection for prep area cleanliness and temperature compliance."
Step 3: Set the Number of Questions
Use the Number of Questions spinner to choose how many questions you want. The default is 8.
Step 4: Choose Question Types (Optional)
Check one or more Question Types to guide the AI toward specific formats. If you leave all boxes unchecked, the AI will choose the most appropriate types on its own.
✨ For scored audits, leave question types unchecked — the AI tends to generate more Yes/No and Select questions that way, which support correct-answer scoring. You can always add scoring after generation.
Step 5: Generate and Review
Click Generate with AI. Teamsly builds a draft audit and opens it directly in the audit builder, where you can edit questions, change types, add or delete questions, mark correct answers to enable scoring, add Header blocks, and configure Settings (name, type, role, goal score, shift assignment, reminders).
💡 Always review the generated questions before assigning the audit. The AI gives you a strong starting point, but you'll want to verify that the questions and scoring logic match your specific standards.
